Ibere Bamboo
the source for timber bamboo

Ibere Bamboo, (pronounced "ee-bay-ray bam-boo") located in America, is a multi-acre farm of timber bamboo. We cultivate other bamboo varieties for their high quality edible shoots, bamboo pulp and other craft(wo)manship uses.

Why Bamboo?
Bamboo is an ancient plant from the grass family that grows rather quickly and is resilient to most weather conditions once established. A food source to most wildlife, this tall sturdy plant reduces soil erosion and is home for many creatures and animals.

Bamboo has been used across many facets of human life and, as technology grows and more is learned about the safety of it, the quality to human life and the support to Earth's environment is mind blowing! Studies show bamboo can recycle up to 35% more carbon dioxide to oxygen than a tree! Speaking of trees, bamboo's durability and structure has the ability to be used like wood in construction, furniture and other wood quality projects when treated and engineered to its unique anatomy.

Let's Get Down to Business

My name is Linda Montgomery

I created Ibere Bamboo to provide a source of quality timber bamboo in America. Bamboo is an alternative, plant based raw material with multiple uses! Bamboo pulp could be used to create paper products, household products, and toiletries. My goal is to develop healthy groves of bamboo varieties using sustainable and environmentally safe methods. I believe that by providing bamboo as a natural resource and making plant based products, alternative products, bamboo products, and eco friendly products accessible to all, humankind will become closer to our goals for longevity and sustainability on Mother Earth. â€‹
